Having a quality website shouldn't break the bank
I started WebJerm in 2023 after realizing there are not a lot of options out there for small businesses and sole proprietors when it comes to having someone manage their websites. Most owners turn to a simple plug and play model or "that nephew who knows computers". There's nothing wrong with these site builders and I know of some very good websites that use them, the issue becomes maintaining it.
Small business owners are busy. They don't have time to keep up with plug-ins, or Google changing the way they rank websites. The alternative to doing it yourself is hiring a professional. The problem is most start-ups and small businesses don't have the money to spend thousands of dollars a month for someone to manage there online presence.
For years I've been working in the marketing industry and dealing with google and ad design. I have always loved building websites and helping people. Realizing that most of what costs money is self fulfilling upsells by the big digital marketing agencies, I realized I could do much more of what is actually needed for a fraction of the price without all the hidden upsells.
Thus WebJerm was born. We work with our clients to determine what is most imprtant to them in developing there online presence and find solutions to meet as much of those needs as possible in there budget. I have found that it is better to start our small, grow the business, then expand rather than spend a fortune upfront with no direction.
